PT Isuzu Astra Motor Indonesia (IAMI) has confirmed that it will carry an electric vehicle that will be exhibited at the 2024 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS), next July.

However, Isuzu did not reveal the details of what electric model would be at the annual exhibition.

"One of them must be EVs but we also don't want most of the focus to be divided. For that we want a clear focus," said President Director of PT IAMI Yusak Kristian Solaeman, in releasing the Isuzu homecoming, in Bekasi, West Java.

When asked about showing off the D-Max EV, Yusak did not answer. It's just that he said he was just waiting for the playing date and was preparing the concept at GIIAS.

"Wait for the main date, because the land in GIIAS is limited and we are preparing the concept, be it D-Max or something else, please wait," he added.

According to him, there are many ideas from Isuzu to present various car models at the GIIAS 2024 event, and there is still time until July to finalize the idea.

As previously reported, Isuzu Thailand has introduced a concept D-Max EV at the Bangkok International Motor Show 2024 exhibition.
