JAKARTA - BMW has officially introduced the very tempting Neue Classe X concept, highlighting four main points: electricity, digital, circular, and driving pleasure.

According to an official statement on the BMW Global page, quoted on Friday, March 22, the BMW Vision Neue Classe X carries the philosophy and technology of the Neue Classe which will be the pioneer of the manufacturer's future Sports Activity Vehicle.

Neue Classe X's exterior design is very interesting, especially with a vertically arranged LED light unit on the front, framed the grip. On the back, the horizontal lights extend to the center, providing a familiar shape. The flat glass and 'Coral Silver' paint complements the privilege of Neue Classe X.

The interior is decorated with materials originating from the bases of plants, minerals, and free from petroleum called BMW "Vina". For example, at the bottom of the door panel and center console, BMW uses maritime plastic obtained from used fish nets, covering 30 percent of its interior.

In more detail, the BMW Neue Classe X is equipped with a redesigned multifunctional steering wheel, a central display with touch control, and a BMW Panoramic Vision with a BMW Intelligent Personal Assistant. There is also a Head-Up 3D display. The medium screen is integrated into the instrument panel, providing access to all infotainment features for the two front passengers.

Neue Classe X uses BMW's sixth generation eDrive technology. The battery uses a new round lithium-ion cell with a volumetric energy density of 20 percent higher than the previous prismatic cell. In fact, the manufacturer uses an 800-volt architecture to increase charging speed by 30 percent, providing a range of 300 km in ten minutes of charging.

BMW announced that the car will begin production at the Debrecen Factory in Hungary by 2025.
