Success In 2023, There Will Be Many Surprises From BMW M For This Year

JAKARTA - The year 2023 will be one of the best periods for the BMW Group. The reason is, the company managed to sell 2,555,341 vehicles or an increase of 6.5 percent from the previous year.

Of this number, as many as 202,530 units of which are vehicles under the 'M' division or an increase of 14.3 percent. Although this record is quite impressive, the company does not want to be complacent.

This BMW high performance division will prepare model refreshers and new ones. BMW said that 2024 will be a busy year as it will prepare some of its model refreshers, such as M2, M3, and M4. Apart from that, the latest edition of the M5 is being prepared.

Reporting from Carscoops, Friday, January 12, this German company does not want to talk much about the M5, but it is known that this model will be made in sedan form and Touring. In fact, the i5 M60 xDrive Touring model is being prepared by them.

For M5 Touring, this car will carry a 4.4 liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine connected to the same electric motor as XM. Thus, this driving system can pump up to 535 kW of power and can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/hour in less than 4 seconds.

Carrying plug-in hybrid (PHEV) technology, the car will have a 25.7 kWh battery capable of running with pure power as far as 100 km.

Meanwhile, BMW will also present a facelift version of M4 CS which offers a racing passion with optimized power increase. It is hoped that this model will have a 3.0 liter 6-cylinder engine with an increased twin-turbo alert, resulting in 543 dk of power and 650 Nm of torque.
