Dayun Group Releases H8 Electric SUV With Battery Tempuh Distance Up To 950 Km

JAKARTA - Not only Xiaomi chose December 28 as a beautiful date for the launch of its first electric car, another Chinese car manufacturer Dayun Group also chose this date to launch the latest six-seat electric SUV, Yuanhang H8.

Posing as a large SUV, the H8 H8 Yuanhang is the second model launched by Yuanhang after the Y6 electric sedan and has dimensions of length 5230 mm, width 2015 mm and height 1760 mm and wheelbase 3126 mm, with a 2+2+2 seat arrangement.

Interestingly, as reported by Carnewschina, December 29, all models of the Yuanhang H8 variant are equipped with level 2 autonomous driving capabilities, including traffic congestion assistance features, toll road driving assistance, lane change assistance, lane center keeping, full speed adaptive control, rear traffic warning, and automatic emergency braking.

In interior, the design of the H8 front cabin is similar to that of Yuanhang Y6. The skin material coats a large area as a background for the skin-material multifunctional steering wheel, 12.3-inch floating LCD instrument, and 17,38-inch central control screen with a vertical layout equipped with AliOS' smart cockpit system.

In addition, Yuanhang H8 also offers functional configurations such as AR-HUD, 27-peaker sound system, 256 color ambient lighting, car entry system with facial recognition, voice recognition, and digital rearview mirrors.

Consumers can choose between rear wheel drivers and one motor or four-wheel drive with two motors. All models have a maximum speed of 210 km/hour.

The rear wheel drive model (RWD) of the car is equipped with a 250 kW electric motor with a 400 Nm torque. The choice of the lithium ternary battery is divided into two choices of 88.42 kWh and 100 kWh, with a CLTC driving range of 610 km and 700 km. The acceleration capability of this model from 0-100 km/hour is 6.5 seconds.

Meanwhile, the four-wheel drive (AWD) has a 250 kW electric motor with a 345 Nm torque and also a 250 kW back electric motor and 400 Nm torque.

Battery options for these versions are lithium ternary 88.42 kWh and 100 kWh, with CLTC driving ranges of 560 km and 650 km.

Then the AWD version is also available with a performance model equipped with a 260 kW electric motor with a 370 Nm torque and a 260 kW rear motor and a 480 Nm torque, plus a 150 kWh lithium ternary battery, with a CLTC driving range of 950 km. This performance version can accelerate from 0-100 km/hour to only 3.8 seconds.

The H8 Yuanhang is also equipped with battery fast charging where charging from 20% to 80% only takes 30 minutes.

For the Chinese market, Yuanhang H8 is offered at prices ranging from 349,800 yuan to a maximum of 559,800 yuan (Rp762 million- Rp1.2 billion. If you look at the price, the Yuanhang H8 electric SUV will compete with AITO M9, NIO ES8, and Audi Q5 e-tron.
