Toyota Presents the Corolla Cross Adventure, Appearing More Aggressive Inspired by the RAV4

JAKARTA - Japanese manufacturer Toyota officially launched a special edition version of the Corolla Cross in the country of origin, to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the model. Quoting from the Drive page, Friday, July 3, the Toyota Corolla Cross Adventure comes with a touch of a more robust design style, and is inspired by its brother RAV4 Edge, but without additional off-road upgrades. The most striking thing is the new front grille design as seen on the gasoline Corolla Cross in the US market, replacing the covered 'honeycomb' design installed on the current Japanese and Australian models. The Corolla Cross Adventure also borrows the design of the dark gray six-spoke alloy wheel rims from the RAV4 Edge, which is sold as an Adventure in many overseas markets, although its size is 17 inches, not 18 inches like the RAV4.

Other exterior changes include a rear bumper lower garnish, black-colored side window trims, and a unique 60th anniversary commemorative sticker on the front fender.

Users can also order various accessories including a Toyota grille emblem inspired by past heritage, as well as textured underbody cladding.

In the interior, this special edition gets a dark silver interior trim finish to distinguish it from the standard Corolla Cross SUV. Adventure will be available in Urban Khaki, Mud Bath, and Platinum White Pearl colors, each paired with a contrasting black roof.
