Lamborghini Reveals The Reason For The Lanzador To Be Present In The Crossover Concept

JAKARTA - In August, Lamborghini officially introduced a model of the Lanzador concept which will be the basis of their electric vehicle (EV) for the future. The unique thing about the Lanzador model is to carry the crossover style combined with the couple and wagon elements with the 2+2 Gran Turismo (GT) configuration.

Of course, this is slightly different from the manufacturer's habit of introducing a supercar with designs that are respected by its rivals. However, the manufacturer has a reason behind it.

Federico Foschini, as Lamborghini's Chief Marketing and Sales Officer, said that Lanzador is a bridge for companies to penetrate the latest segment so that this can add to the company's portfolio.

"There are two segments that we have not mastered, namely the sedan segment and the 2+2 segment," he said on the Autoblogging page, Tuesday, December 26.

Despite this, his party has crossed out the sedan segment because it has a style that contradicts the identity of the company and the decline that occurred in one of its models, Estoque. However, taking care of those in the SUV segment received good reception and experienced an increase as a vehicle of utility.

This car will be equipped with a double electric motor on each double to ensure electric drive can work optimally in all conditions.

The lanzador comes with the driving of all wheels (AWD) and offers an active e-torque vector on the back axis in order to produce dynamic and smooth driving.

It is known that before the production version of the Lanzador slides, Lamborghini will first launch hybrid management in 2024 or 2025. They also have the ambition to present an electricity version in 2030.
