Lexus Releases LX700h Price, First Model With Latest Hybrid Technology

JAKARTA - Lexus has added a variant to the full-size LX SUV, namely LX700h in October last year. This type also marks the debut of the model with the latest hybrid technology.

This car is positioned above the LX600 variant and will be marketed in several countries, including the United States (US). Now, the premium automotive brand has announced a price tag from LX700h.

Reporting from the Car and Driver page, Friday, January 3, the manufacturer with the 'L' logo provides four different trims on LX700h, starting from Overtrail which focuses on offroad capabilities for 115,350 US dollars (equivalent to Rp1,870 billion).

The Overtrail Trim also offers some equipment such as a differential-lock on the front and rear, a differential-lock in the middle, a 33-inch wide-field tire, and a forward skid plate.

Then, the manufacturer under Toyota also offers an aggressive-style F Sport type which is pegged at US$ 117,850 (Rp1,910 billion), then there is a Luxury trim for 119,850 US dollars (Rp1,943 billion), and an Ultra Luxury variant worth US$141,350 (Rp2,292 billion).

Of course, the price offered is more expensive when compared to the LX600 model with prices ranging from 106,850 US dollars to the most expensive reaching 115,350 US dollars (Rp1.732 billion to Rp1,870 billion).

By design, this car has no change that distinguishes it from other LX variants. Lexus only adds an electric motor installed in the part between transmission and a 3.4 liter V6 twin-turbocharged engine. Thus, LX700h has a combined power of 457 dk and a 790 Nm peak torque.

These configurations allow features such as four-wheel drive and low range transfer case to be maintained, while ensuring more effective torque transmission.

Another unique thing in the LX700h Lexus is the provision of Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) features like electric cars in general. This feature can be a power reserve of up to 2,400 watts.
