Kia Picanto 2024 Launches In Australia With Sport And GT-Line Models

JAKARTA - Kia Picanto's third generation or the second facelift officially launched in Australia, offering two versions of Sport and GT-Line.

In fact, this second facelift has arrived in the middle of this year, and has begun to penetrate various markets. This time Australia became the next destination and could be an attractive choice for those looking for cars of small size but still stand out.

Quoted from the Carscoops page, Wednesday, December 27, the latest Kia Picanto comes with an Opposites United design philosophy that has indeed changed significantly from the previous model, including a new front goal that is equipped with LED lights, a fully revised back facility with new lights and a different bumper.

The entry-level model is in the form of Picanto Sport, while its mainstay is known as GT-Line. The latter is distinguished thanks to 16-inch rims, more sophisticated headlights and rear lights, as well as the addition of a new discipline black diffuser.

Speaking of heartburn, both versions are equipped with a 1.2 liter cylinder four-cylinder gasoline which can be combined with a five-speed manual transmission or four-speed automatic. This machine generates 83 hp and 122 Nm torques. Although these numbers may look small, these numbers are quite suitable for this size of the city.

The increase applied to Picanto 2024 also extends to the cabin. The Sport and GT-Line models are equipped with a 4.2-inch digital instrument cluster, new premium synthetic skin for steering wheel and nob shift, USB Type-C charging port on the back, and an 8-inch infotainment display.

Not only that, from the safety side of this one car is equipped with the Blind Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist, Rear Cross-Traffic Collision-Avoidance Assist, Lane Follow Assist, and Lane Keeping Assist features. In addition, it offers a variety of seven exterior paint layers, including the new Adventure Green option.

This one model is sold starting from 17,890 Australian dollars or Rp188 million for manual transmission, and automatically it is at 19,490 Australian dollars equivalent to Rp204 million. Meanwhile, GT-Line is sold more expensively, starting at 19,690 Australian dollars or Rp 206 million.

Actually, this one car has also been in Indonesia for a long time, but there has been no update. Of course, it is worth waiting for its presence in the country.
