Skolda, a Czech manufacturer announced several major upgrades to Enyaq for the 2024 model, providing a longer reach and faster charging capabilities.
It is known, Enyaq was the first electric vehicle produced by Skolda Auto under the auspices of the Volkswagen Group and was introduced in September 2020 in Prague City.
Enyaq is quite well-selling in the European market, even according to data from Clean Technica to the best-selling BEV in October 2023 in Germany with a total selling of 2,579 units, as well as occupying the top position followed by Audi Q4 e-tron (1,867 units) and Fiat 500e (1,760 units).
Reporting from Skolda's official website, Friday, December 8, this increase was the result of the introduction of a new rear motorbike and an optimized battery. Three variants of the Enyaq model, namely 85, 85x, and RS (including the Coupe variant), all of which get a new drivetrain that strengthens their performance.
"We have thoroughly tested all the hardware and software components, and we have revised and optimized them more carefully. The new electric motors that are more efficient and powerful for the 2024 Enyaq model we present an increase in power, larger torque, and further reach," said Johannes Neft, Member of the Automotive Council for Technical Development.

The Enyaq 85K Configuration of Enyaq 85 now has a range of up to 565 km with one charge, increasing from the previous 548 km. The maximum power of 150 kW now reaches 210 kW. This change was obtained thanks to a new motor mounted on the back, which is not only more powerful but also more efficient. Battery charging speed remains unchanged.
