Suzuki Prepares MPV Premium Twin Innova Zenix

JAKARTA - Japanese vehicle manufacturer Suzuki will release a new MPV for the Indian market. It is also reported that this is a repudge version of Toyota Innova Zenix.

Reporting from Autocar India, Thursday, April 27, 2023, in India Toyota and Suzuki did work together in launching the car in the same way, one of the products is the MPV which will be the twin of Innova.

This was also confirmed by the Chairman of Maruti Suzuki, RC Bhargava who said that his party would prepare a three-line model from Toyota.

"We will provide vehicles from Toyota, these are hybrid vehicles with three rows, and will offer high-end prices," Bhargava said as quoted by Autocar India.

The premium MPV will be launched for the Indian market. Some time ago, an Innova with the name "Innova Hycross" was officially sold.

The two manufacturers have been working together for a long time since 2017. Suzuki's models, such as Vitara Brezza and Baleno, were sold by Toyota under the names Urban Cruiser and Glanza in India.

After a while Toyota used a Suzuki car as a model for its market, Suzuki was finally able to rebudge one of the Toyota cars.

However, Suzuki doesn't expect much more from the premium MPV. In fact, they said that these vehicles were sold in not many quantities.

"I don't think the volume will be very large, but it's a breakthrough in the sense of carbon-friendly hybrid technology vehicles. It will come in at least two months or more," added Bhargava.
