Ahok Affirms That The Governor Of DKI Jakarta Has The Authority To Be Equal To The Minister In Today's Memory, July 20, 2016

JAKARTA Memori hari ini, delapan tahun yang lalu, 20 Juli 2016, Gubernur DKI Jakarta, Basuki Tjahaja Purnama (Ahok) mengungkap posisi gubernur di Indonesia memiliki kewenangan sama menteri. Pernyataan Ahok itu dilakukan karena ia mendapat kritik berperan seperti karyawan pembangan pulau reklamasi.

This wish was wrapped in Presidential Decree (Kepres) No. 52 of 1995 concerning the Reclamation of the North Coast of Jakarta. However, the plan did not run smoothly until the New Order collapsed. The presidential decree was then strengthened during the administration of President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY) in 2012.

SBY then issued Presidential Regulation No. 122 of 2012 concerning the reclamation of Coastal Areas and small islands. This wish was also welcomed by the Governor of DKI Jakarta, Fauzi Bowo. The reclamation design was changed to the designation of 17 New Islands named Pulau A to Q.

This wish only really took place in the era of Ahok's leadership. The Governor of DKI Jakarta considered it important to present the Jakarta Bay reclamation project. Ahok did not accept Rizal's criticism. He asked Rizal not to doubt the position of Governor of DKI Jakarta in matters of interfering in the reclamation project. Ahok revealed that according to the law, the Governor of DKI Jakarta had the authority to be equal to the minister on July 20, 2016.

Ahok wants reclamation affairs to continue. He also asked Rizal if he objected to being asked to write down his objections in writing to the President of Indonesia. This is because the reclamation plan is a mandate from the central government. Even though Rizal was later removed from his position as Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs on July 27, 2016.
