Aimee's Cast In 'Sex Education' Reveals What It's Like To Have A Sex Scene

JAKARTA - Actress Aimee Lou Wood shines even more after playing the character Aimee in the Sex Education series. The series follows a group of students at a Moordale school who adapt to their sexuality.

The character of Aimee Lou Wood stole the attention because she played Aimee who was sexually assaulted and traumatized on the bus. In season three, Aimee is still trying to deal with her trauma.

As the name implies, Sex Education also features several bed scenes. Aimee Lou Wood told how the production team gave them guidance during the scene.

“I remember the first time I did a sex scene and I was like, 'Oh maybe I can do it' and the scene coordinator Ita said, 'No, that's okay (if you don't want to do it)” Aimee said as quoted by Collider today, September 20.

The coordinator said, “Aimee, I'm telling you something, no means no, maybe means no. So if you say maybe you will be comfortable (doing sex scenes) that means no'," continued Aimee.

According to the coordinator, if Aimee insisted on having sex scenes but it wasn't comfortable, in the future, she would feel guilty.

"He told me, 'if you have any doubts you will agree to do something that will make you feel down afterwards'. Nothing put pressure on me," she said. Therefore, Aimee Lou Wood felt when doing sex scenes, she couldn't be halfway through in giving approval. The latest season of Sex Education can be watched on Netflix.
