Haters Defended By East Java DPRD, Ayu Ting Ting: They Don't Know My Struggle

JAKARTA - Ayu Ting Ting's report on haters who spread hatred, edit videos and pictures of their daughters are pros and cons in society. East Java DPRD member, Fauzan Fuadi from the PKB faction, said he was ready to accompany the family of Ayu Ting Ting's haters.

He argued that Ayu Ting Ting's parents' actions were excessive by uploading photos of KD and her family on social media. Ayu Ting Ting's mother, Umi Kalsum, indeed had time to upload KD's parents and their child on their Instagram account. The video was then taken down from her account.

Not wanting to back down, Ayu admitted that she had been patient with haters for years. But this time, her patience ran out because the bully involved her daughter, Bilqis Khumairah Razak.

"So far, as you know, Ayu has never stepped forward. Only for Ayu, this has gone too far, regarding Bilqis," said Ayu Ting Ting holding back tears, quoted from a broadcast by Brownies Trans TV, Sunday, August 22.

"They don't know what Ayu and Bilqis' struggle was like. They beat Bilqis, Ayu, without them knowing what our struggle was like," she continued.

Minola Sebayang, as Ayu Ting Ting's lawyer, emphasized that if there are haters' behavior that is proven to lead to violations, they can be brought to justice.

"We are in a state of law and no one is above the law. There are several rules that are obeyed. So, that is our basis for the authorities," explained Minola Sebayang.

Minola Sebayang explained that the police do not carelessly take care of a case. They will also consider which issues have the potential to violate the law.

"Because the police are selective people. Reports that do not have a criminal charge will definitely be rejected," he explained.

For example, Minola Sebayang took the case that just happened between Ayu Ting Ting and her bully, Kartika Damayanti alias KD. The report to the Metro Jaya Police has been received and is being investigated.

"The evidence is that now we have made a report and it has been accepted. So what (the perpetrators) did, it is suspected that they violated the rules," said Minola Sebayang.
