Sky Castle Drama Player, Jo Byeong Gyu Proven Not Doing Bullying

JAKARTA - The bullying case that dragged actor Jo Byeong Gyu found a bright spot. The agency that manages the actor, HB Entertainment, gave an official statement.

In February, someone shared a post claiming to be Jo Byeong Gyu's schoolmate in New Zealand. He said Byeong Gyu used to verbally bully and joke obscenely at school.

The agency denied the accusations and the post has been deleted, but there are different people who wrote similar experiences while at the same school as the Sky Castle drama player.

The Uncanny Counter player again denied the allegations and the agency took legal steps to deal with this case. In addition, there were several posts related to the same case and said Jo Byeong Gyu's agency threatened them. Jo Byeong Gyu denied this claim.

Tuesday, July 27, HB Entertainment explained that during the police investigation process, the author of the post admitted that everything written was fake.

"Jo Byeong Gyu submitted files when he was a student and testimonies from several friends and teachers who saw him at school," said HB as quoted from Soompi today, July 28.

Meanwhile, for the author of the post who is abroad, the police have identified the perpetrator and legal procedures will be carried out when the author goes to Korea.

"We will actively take legal action against those who write without evidence about Jo Byeong Gyu. Thank you." On the other hand, Jo Byeong Gyu is considering the latest Korean drama offer he received last month.
