Lotso's Voice Actor In 'Toy Story 3', Ned Beatty Dies

JAKARTA - Actor Ned Beatty died in his sleep in Los Angeles on Sunday, June 13, United States time.

Citing from Deadline today, June 14, Beatty's death was confirmed by her manager, Deborah Miller. He died naturally and there is no other information regarding his disappearance.

Ned Beatty was born on July 6, 1937, in Louisville, Kentucky. He first invaded the acting world when he was 19 years old where he acted in Wilderness Road. For 10 years he acted in theater in Indiana, Kentucky, and Virginia.

Deliverance became his feature film acting debut in 1972. He later received an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actor in the 1976 film Network.

In addition, he has also received a number of nominations from Emmy and Golden Globe. In 2004, Beatty was awarded the Drama Desk Award for his role in Cat on a Hot Tin Roof.

One of the awards he received was Best Villain from the MTV Movie Award when he played the character Lotso in the film Toy Story 3.

Throughout his career, Ned Beatty has acted in more than 160 projects both film and television. He starred in several series such as Gunsmoke, M*A*S*H, The Rockford Files, The Streets of San Francisco, Murder, She Wrote, Alfred Hitchcock Presents, and others.

For the big screen, Ned Beatty stole the attention, from Nashville, All the President's Men, Superman, Back to School, Charlie Wilson's War, and Rango, Rampart, and Baggage Claim.

Ned Beatty died leaving his wife, Sandra Johnson, and eight children and grandchildren at the age of 83.
