Fedu Officially Divorced, Admits Vibrating Sounds When Pledged

JAKARTA Comedian Bedu Tohar officially holds the status of a widower after undergoing a trial reading the pledge of divorce at the South Jakarta Religious Court. Although the divorce process went smoothly and peacefully, there was an emotional moment that the comedian could not hide when reading the pledge of separation.

Bedu admitted that her voice shook when she released her wife legally. For the owner of Harabdu Tohar's real name, marriage is a worship and a big responsibility to keep his wife and children from the heat of hell. When the bond broke, he felt there was a moral burden that still overshadowed his mind.

"It's not a burden to lose, isn't it. But that means, after this separation, my ex, my wife, remained on the straight track?" said Bedu after the trial, Tuesday, December 9.

This concern arose not without reason, but because of the phenomenon he often saw among celebrities.

Bedu bluntly said his fear that his ex-wife was influenced by post-single association. He saw many examples of female fellow artists who initially behaved straightly, but changed drastically after separating from her husband. This is what he really avoids happening to the mother of his children.

"I'm worried that my children will see that. But hopefully it's in my heart that I'm still praying that hopefully my children's mother will stay on the straight path," he said.

Bedu's concern is solely for the mental future of his children. Realizing the severity of his role as a single parent for his ex-wife, Bedu promised to continue to provide support, both morally and financially.

"Yes, the name is a single mother, right. Even though I'm still trying to give her a living until she meets a mate," said Bedu.

Furthermore, he emphasized his commitment to continue to support the life of his ex-wife until a new companion replaces him.

Now, prayer is the only weapon of the Bedu. "Hopefully Allah will always protect. That's all, that's why I made me tremble," he concluded.
