Maia Estianty Hopes El Rumi And Syifa Hadju's Marriage Without Drama

JAKARTA - Musician Maia Estianty expressed her hopes for the marriage of her son, El Rumi, with Syifa Hadju in the future. Reflecting on Al Ghazali and Alyssa Daguise's wedding experience, Maia hopes that El and Syifa's happy moment can take place without drama, including in terms of family appearances.

According to Maia, one of the lessons she learned from Al's marriage is the importance of uniformity in family clothing so that it looks harmonious on a special day.

"Of course there are (hikmah) yes, such as for example treatment. Yesterday the clothes for each family were like having their own model. I said later, for example, with Syifa, if everything could be returned or almost uniform," said Maia Estianty, quoted by VOI from the Comic 8 Revolution YouTube channel, Thursday, October 30.

Irwan Mussry's wife explained that uniformity is not just a matter of aesthetics, but also a way to avoid negative gaps and comments from the public.

Despite giving advice, Maia emphasized that she would not interfere too far in preparing for the child's wedding. He wanted El and Syifa to determine the concept of the event according to their dream.

"Actually, they have their own wedding dreams, so whoever it is, I hand them over to the children what they want. For example, one Javanese custom, the international one, it's up to them," he said.

Maia added that her role as a parent is only limited to providing input and helping if needed.

"At the very least, we'll just beat it up, later there's a lot of guests or not, this is intimate with what's common. At most parents just give their bill," he said with a laugh.
