Arya Saloka Learns Iqro From The Beginning To Grow Jenggot For The Sake Of Munafik Films

JAKARTA - Arya Saloka is trusted to play in the latest horror film produced by Unlimited Production and Skop Production entitled Munafik which is adapted from the Malaysian Munafik film.

In this film, Arya Saloka, who will play the character Ustadz Adam, tells the story of several points that he did to deepen his character, such as learning iqro from the start to launch reciting the holy verses of the Koran.

"(Learning) Iqro again from the start," said Arya Saloka in the Central Jakarta area, Wednesday, October 29.

Not without reason, the image of Ustaz Adam built in the Malaysian version of the Munafik as a religious cleric made Arya Saloka motivated to study to be a good ustaz like Ustaz Adam.

"Beban juga (memainkan karakter Ustaz Adam). Jadi di Malaysia kan sangat luar biasa Ustad Adam-nya. Jadi kebetulan guru kami untuk ustadnya pun katakan, 'Itu saya menonton dibacanya Masya Allah bagus utang' gitu," ungkap Arya Saloka.

"Well, so to me, 'Wow, it's a bit bad'. It's quite motivating to, 'Oh I have to learn again, I have to be able to at least catch up', that's it," he continued.

Not only that, but Arya Saloka also extended his beard to play the character Ustaz Adam. In addition, extending his beard is also a form of himself following the sunnah of the Prophet.

"Yes, one of them is because of this preparation. One of them is also because the Sunnah of the Prophet grows his beard. When we carry out the sunnah, the reward comes in when I haven't cut it, the reward keeps coming in me every day, like that," he concluded.

The Munafik film itself will only begin their filming process on November 2 and will feature actors such as Nova Eliza, Dimas Aditya to Donny Damara.
