JAKARTA - Anime lovers can't wait for the Resident Evil series on Netflix. Today, May 19, the streaming service released its inaugural trailer through the YouTube channel.

Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness focuses on the two main characters, Leon S. Kennedy (Nick Apostolides) and Claire Redfield (Stephanie Panisello) in 2006. Both face challenges on the battlefield, zombie fights, and Tyrant who is shrouded in mystery.

In 2006, a hack of top-secret White House documents took place. Leon and three other agents were invited to investigate this incident. But in the middle of the investigation process, they encounter a horde of zombies.

Apart from Leon and Claire, there are several other characters that will appear, namely Jason (Ray Chase), Shen May (Jona Xiao), Patrick (Billy Kametz), Graham (Joe J. Thomas), Wilson (Doug Stone), Ryan (Brad Venable).

Still being produced by Capcom, the Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness series was made to celebrate 25 years of Resident Evil.
