JAKARTA - PT PP Presisi Tbk (PPRE) is taking strategic steps to support the development of human resources (HR) through the launch of two strategic programs, namely the Fresh Mechanic Development Program (FMDP) and the PPRE Learning Center.
Fresh Mechanic Development Program (FMDP) is a special program that aims to strengthen basic mechanical skills and produce mechanical personnel who have high readiness, durability, and loyalty to work in the industrial environment.
Meanwhile, the PPRE Learning Center is a learning facility that supports the development of knowledge and skills of PPRE employees according to the company's needs. This Learning Center is a learning center that focuses on developing technical and managerial competencies.
FMDP is designed for new vocational and vocational school graduates, with the absorption power tailored to the company's needs. This program includes bintalsik (mental, physical, and disciplinary formation), classroom training, and direct training in the field (on-site training/on the job training).
The PPRE Learning Center has a wider scope. In the early stages (2025-2026), the focus is on upskilling existing mechanics, assessments, and mechanical certification. Starting in 2026, the Learning Center will expand its targets to include other key personnel. This program includes training such as FMDP, Basic Machine Maintenance (BMC), and other technical training.
Through these two initiatives, PPRE aims to:
- Form reliable basic mechanical personnel, competence, and integrity according to the value of AKHLAK.- Supports sustainable development of labor that is in accordance with modern industrial standards and needs.
FMDP's first batch is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2024, with a follow-up program set to take place in 2025. The absorption power of this program is designed to meet the company's needs, with a target of two to four batches per year.
Meanwhile, the PPRE Learning Center is in the final preparation stage and is scheduled to start operating in February 2025. This facility will become a center for human resource development to support the transformation of PPRE towards digitization and operational efficiency.
PPRE refers to the best practices from construction companies and other heavy equipment companies, which have already scored superior mechanical labor and established learning facilities. The results of these benchmarks show that approaches such as FMDP and Learning Center are effective in improving the company's labor skills, durability, and operational efficiency.
Director of Finance & HCM of PT PP Presisi Tbk, M. Arif Iswahyudi, Monday, December 23, said that through the FMDP and PPRE Learning Center, his party wanted to ensure that PPRE not only produces competent workers but also supports development.
"HR as an important pillar of business sustainability. We believe this initiative will have a significant positive impact on company and industrial operations in general," he explained.
