Taeil Ex NCT Admits Sexual Harassment At The Latest Session

JAKARTA - Taeil ex NCT underwent the first trial of a sexual harassment case he and his two friends had. The three of them attended and admitted the acts of rape they committed against a woman from China.

Wednesday, September 17, the Seoul Court of the 11-3 Criminal Division held the first trial for three people including Taeil. The trial was held two months after the case was registered in court.

Quoting Starnews, Taeil and two of his friends were present in brown prison uniforms. Taeil and his friends appealed for a sentence of three and a half years in prison.

In his defense, Taeil explained that considering this is the first criminal case, he promised not to create criminal cases in the future.

I realized all my mistakes and reflected them. More than that, I know the words or actions I cannot hide what the victim feels. I used this opportunity to apologize," said Taeil.

"I will live for the rest of my life knowing my sins. I will not commit crimes again. I will live honestly, never forget the severity of the law," he said.

Once again I apologize for the losses I made. I'm really sorry," Taeil concluded in his statement.

Taeil was first arrested by the police for harassing a woman and her two friends in June 2024.

The latest trial for the Taeil case is scheduled for October 17.
