Venna Melinda Admits Loss Because She Is Still Ferry Irawan's Wife

JAKARTA - Venna Melinda's attorney, Wijayono Hadi Sukrisno, said that his client suffered losses because his status was still husband and wife with Ferry Irawan. However, Wijayono was reluctant to reveal what losses his client felt.

"There is (loss), we just don't need to reveal what it is," said Wijayono Hadi Sukrisno at the South Jakarta Religious Court, Tuesday, September 3.

Even so, Wijayono said that he did not think that Venna Melinda's disappointment was related to this and chose to just live it up.

"We just live normal, there is no disappointment at all. So it's just buying times, actually but it has to be lived," added Wijayono.

For this second divorce suit, Venna will return to trial in accordance with the process and provisions from the start.

"Yes, the trial as usual. Yes, the process is as usual," explained Wijayono.

Venna said that she only hopes that this divorce trial can be resolved quickly and well.

"Yes, I want Venna to finish quickly. No one wants to be in court for a long time either," said another attorney, Emi Wiranto.

Venna again filed for divorce from Ferry Irawan because previously Ferry as the applicant did not make a divorce pledge until the time limit of 6 months according to the judge's decision.

Until based on the applicable law, Ferry's divorce suit against Venna was deemed dead, a new divorce suit had to be made.
