Machica Mochtar's Son Is Suspected Of Being Arrested Because He Hasn't Visited Home After Participating In Action Against The Pilkada Bill

JAKARTA - Old singer Machica Moctar reported that his son, Muhammad Iqbal Ramadhan, had not yet returned home after participating in the demonstration against the 2024 Pilkada Bill at the DPR RI Building on Thursday, August 22 yesterday.

The latest news he learned was that his son had a broken bone in the nose and had been taken to the hospital. However, the intended hospital is unknown.

"I don't know where my child is, I'm still weak, I don't know where my child is, he said his nose was broken and he said he was in the hospital, I don't know which hospital. Yes, as a mother, I'm worried," said Machica Mochtar via telephone, Friday, August 23.

Machica said that he had contacted Iqbal's friends who participated with his son in the action.

"Already (contacted), his friends have coordinated with me, there are two who have been arrested, who? The chairman of Lokatatu, Lokataru, who made my son, now what director is his name, I don't know where," said Machica.

Likewise with Iqbal's personal device which turned out to be inactive since yesterday afternoon. "Take a cellphone but until now the cellphone cannot be contacted. Not (active), that's why I'm still weak at home," he said.

The news of the arrest of Iqbal himself was obtained by Machica from Iqbal's aunt in the afternoon. "Then I called during the afternoon, there was no news. In the afternoon his aunt called, I was surprised Iqbal was arrested, what about astagfirullah," he said.
