JAKARTA - Celebrity and husband of Kimberly Border, Edward Akbar, was not present at the examination agenda of the South Jakarta Metro Police investigators today, Monday, August 5 for health reasons.

Where Edward should have been examined regarding the report filed by Kimberly Border on the alleged embezzlement of a vehicle in the form of a car.

"On the agenda, we should have called for clarification, but our client could not attend because of poor health conditions," said Jundri R. Berutu, Edward Akbar's attorney at the South Jakarta Metro Police, Monday, August 5.

Jundri said that his client is now more focused on the divorce suit for Kimberly Border, which will be held again on August 7.

"At the same time, on the 7th, there is a mediation agenda, so we focus more on Kim's divorce suit agenda first," he added.

The absence of Edward Akbar in his first examination was allegedly due to exhaustion due to having to go back and forth from Bali-Jakarta as well as taking care of two problems at once, namely allegations of embezzlement of cars and divorce.

"Yes, it's normal because there are some that have to be carried out, right? From Bali then to Jakarta in Central Jakarta at PA, you also have to focus, here too," said Jundri R. Berutu.

"So, earlier we had directly submitted a letter of postponement to the Chief of Police, to Mr. Kasat, Mr. Kasubnit, we have also conveyed it," he explained.

It is planned that the investigators will again summon Edward Akbar to undergo a re-examination. This was conveyed directly by the Public Relations of the South Jakarta Metro Police, Nurma Dewi.

"However, EA asked to postpone it. To ask for a postponement on August 12, 2024," he said.
