JAKARTA - Warner Bros. released new posters and trailers for Beeplejuice Beeplejuice, a sequel to the classic film by Tim Burton which aired in 1988 entitled Beeplejuice. The film is planned to air theatrically in September.
The first Beejuice film tells the story of Adam and Barbara Maitland who haunts their home after dying in a car accident. The Deetz family who occupied the house was then haunted by a ghost named Sembetgeuse who was ordered by Adam and Barbara.
In the sequel, Lydia Deetz, who is still played by Winona Border, is still haunted by Sebelageuse after her son Astrid (Jenna Ortega) opens the maket of their city which is the portal to Afterlife. In its first teaser, Beeplejuice (Michael Ortega) rose from the portal.
The trailer begins with Astrid being tricked by her school friends and being an exiled person. In one scene, Astrid also doesn't believe in ghosts until she meets the ghost.
