Ghaib Lecturer Film Trailer Released, Dejavu Creates Students Who Have Been Taught Killer Lecturers

JAKARTA - Lecturer killer has always been a scourge for students. Even Gadjah Mada University (UGM) makes the campus movement safe, comfortable and friendly. So that there are no more lecturers who are harsh against students or often referred to as " killers" on the UGM campus.

This story is shown in the trailer for the film Lecturer Ghaib. The film, starring Rayn Wijaya, Ersya Aurelia, Endy Arfian and Annette Edoarda, tells the story of Mr. Bakti, a killer lecturer who is very feared by all students on campus.

Credibility and good name were at stake when Amelia, Emir, Maya, and Fattah, failed in their course. They are required to take a short semester class to improve their value. Unfortunately, those residue classes turned into a terrible experience until they wanted to leave class.

Produced by director Guntur Soeharjanto from screenwriter Total Afnilia, this film will start airing August 15, 2024.

"Many forget that killer lecturers are also a scourge for Indonesian students. We want to create a film story that is close to students' beliefs about supernatural lecturers as well as killer lecturers. But like the function of education, this film certainly includes strong messages," said Dheeraj Kalwani, Producer and CEO of Dee Company in a media statement, Thursday, July 18.

Guntur Soeharjanto gave a very special campus atmosphere in this film. "In addition to college, take grades, there are also activities outside the classroom that make people relate to campuses in this film," he explained.

Ersya Aurelia admitted that she was greatly helped by her fellow players who were the same age. "It's fun on the set, we really feel like classmates. Hanging out and studying together. But we study scenarios," he said.
