Shannen Doherty Officially Divorced The Day Before His Death

JAKARTA - Shannen Doherty reportedly officially divorced her ex-husband, Kurt Iswarico the day before she died. People reported that the actress agreed to sign several documents related to property distribution outside the court.

"Both parties wrote statements related to property and distribution and the right to marriage or at home marriage, including livelihoods, which were originally moderate or had been submitted to court," reads the document statement.

Kurt Iswarico signed the document on July 13 which coincided with the death of Shannen Doherty.

Doherty and Iswarico married in October 2011. After 11 years of marriage, Doherty filed for divorce in 2023.

Before he died, Doherty was involved in several conflicts with her ex-husband regarding documents. Documents revealed earlier this month stated that her ex-husband was declared to have to pay support fees for Shannen Doherty.

Iswarico's lawyer explained that they offered an agreement in October 2023 but Doherty refused.

Shannen Doherty was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2015. He underwent a treatment process until he was declared cured, but the cancer returned in 2019.

A few months before his departure, Doherty created a number of podcast content with guests to talk about his career and life.

Meanwhile, Shannen Doherty died at the age of 53.
