Crashed By Hollywood, Armie Hammer Hurts But Is Happier

JAKARTA - More than two years since the alleged intimidation and harassment, Armie Hammer returned to the public by being a guest at several events. He said all the accusations directed at him were painful but made him happier.

"A good place just comes after walking through hell. It was a brutal experience," Armie Hammer told Bill Maher.

"Someone might look at me and say, 'But look at yourself financially in a different position than all of you' and I replied 'Yes, but you know, it taught me that I don't need it,' he said.

The Call Me by Your Name star explained that he was happy in his current position. He was even declared cured after undergoing rehabilitation to overcome addiction to sex, alcohol, and drugs.

I feel very happy more than anything in my life. For me, therapy is a change of life. I need adjustments," Hammer said again.

"There are some things going on. I had thought what if all this didn't happen. My life might go the way it was before and I know it only leads to one point, namely death," he continued.

I had ego deaths, career deaths, financial deaths - all of them, right? (Carl) Jung had discussed it, Joseph Campbell had discussed it. You need to die, and when you die once, you will be born again," said Armie Hammer.

Previously, Armie Hammer revealed his ignorance of his Hollywood career. He plans to continue his career as a scriptwriter and be behind the scenes.
