Reza Rahadian And Angga Sasongko Reunion In Heartbreak Film

JAKARTA - Director Angga Dwimas Sasongko made a love story in his latest film, Heartbreak Total. This film is adapted from a hit novel by Ika Natassa made by Visinema Pictures.

Heartbreaking also presents a number of well-known actors in Indonesia, ranging from Laura Basuki, Reza Rahadian, Chicco Jerikho to Sheila Dara Aisha, Maya Hasan, Dwi Yan, Pierre Gruno and Jeremy Thomas and Cornelio Sunny.

Interestingly, this film became a meeting between Reza Rahadian and Angga Sasongko after collaborating in the film Hari for Amanda in 2010.

The "Heartbreakbar" is arguably the most expensive romance drama film I've ever made. Reza said it was my forte and first met on Hari Untuk Amanda," recalled Angga Sasongko at a press conference launching the teaser on Friday, June 28.

"First, when I found out that Angga was making this film, I was one of the excited because Angga made a moment for both of us to be trusted (in the film). It turned out that it took 16 years to meet again," said Reza Rahadian.

"Hopefully after that there won't be a need to wait. I see him as the same person. I always see Angga has the spirit to achieve something new," continued Reza.

In addition, Reza was also reunited with Ika Natassa, who is known to have collaborated with Reza for several films adapted from films.

"As the person who has played the story several times, I dare say this is the best Ika adaptation I can see," he said again.

Angga also revealed that it took several years to be able to work with Ika Natassa. He has read Ika's novel and is interested in bringing it into the film medium.

When I read the first novel, there was a desire to adapt. Then in the next few years I had a chance to chat with Ika for Critical Eleven but not yet a mate. In my opinion, Heartbreak totaling is the most cinematic novel because when I read it, I imagined what the visualization would be, "said Angga Sasongko.

Heartbreaking TELLs the story of Ava (Laura Basuki), a top actress who is in a dilemma in the midst of her relationship with Reza Malik (Reza Rahadian), she meets Raga (Chicco Jerikho) who is present in her life. The film Heartbreak totals in Indonesian cinemas starting August 1, 2024.
