Sues Sarwendah Divorce, Ruben Onsu Closes Instagram Comments

Ruben Onsu filed for divorce from his wife, Sarwendah on June 9, 2024, through his attorney, Minola Sebayang, to the South Jakarta District Court (PN). Before the news emerged, Ruben Onsu had closed his comments on Instagram.

This lawsuit itself has been confirmed by Public Relations 2 of the South Jakarta District Court, Tumpanuli Marbun.

"That's right, based on our SIPP. There is a lawsuit from the plaintiff on behalf of RSO (Ruben Onsu) against S (Sarwendah) regarding the divorce suit. Which was registered on June 9, 2024," said Tumpanuli Marbun at the South Jakarta District Court, Wednesday, June 12.

Tumpanuli added that in the contents of his lawsuit, Ruben Onsu only demanded a separation from Sarwendah.

He did not demand custody of his three children and also Gono's property to the wife he had married for 11 years.

"(The only thing that is requested is) divorce. There is no child custody. (The price) does not exist," he said.

It is estimated that the first trial of Ruben and Sarwendah's divorce will be held on July 9 behind closed doors at the South Jakarta District Court.

"It is certain that the reason for the divorce has definitely been stated in the lawsuit, but because of this case, the divorce case in our private sphere certainly cannot be confirmed to the general public because this trial is also closed," he explained.

"If later it will be known what the motive for the divorce itself will only be known at that time the reading of the final decision. Therefore, it has begun to be open to the public," he added.

Previously, the household of Ruben Onsu and Sarwendah had been rumored to be cracked because the two were rarely seen uploading moments of togetherness on social media.
