Natasha Wilona And Emir Mahira Adu Acting Again In The Film Promise Blood

JAKARTA - Natasha Wilona and Emir Mahira will compete acting in a horror film entitled Promise Blood. This film is directed by Sentot Sahid and made based on the true story of the director.

The film Promise Blood tells the story of Rayhan (Emir Mahira) and Sheren (Natasha Wilona), a happy young couple, and happier after Sheren became pregnant at the age of a year of their marriage. However, this happiness graduallyAPs by a series of disturbances from spirits, which have long developed into dangerous terror.

Her threats began to end in the fetus in Sheren's womb. Rayhan was forced to reveal his childhood memories, when he was very close to his cousin named Dinda, who both had the sixth senses. Rayhan suspects that the mystical incident that happened with him and Sheren is related to his promise with Dinda.

"Contrarying a horror film is certainly a big challenge for me, where the impression I faced when directing this film. Actually, this story was inspired by a story that I experienced myself, where since I was little I was given from the Almighty who was able to see smooth creatures," said Sentot Sahid.

"It's just that for the needs of the story in films, of course the case needs to be developed so that it can become a more attractive spectacle from various aspects," he said.

Natasha Wilona was enthusiastic about this film project and was met with Emir Mahira in a new story.

"Something that is based on a true story, in my opinion, has its own different attraction and when we do a scene, then we create a scene for the sake of the scene that we do together, we create with directors and other players, it feels more exciting, real and what it is," said Natasha Wilona.

"I already know my two main co-stars, Natasha Wilona and Fergie Brittany, so you could say there is understanding between us. With Mas Sentot, the process is very enjoyable because he is easy and fun to discuss when developing a character," added Emir Mahira.

In addition to the two, this film stars Fergie Brittany, Djenar Maesa Ayu, Yatti Surachman, Shabrina Luna, and Abirama Putra.

The film Promises Blood will be shown in all Indonesian cinemas starting July 4, 2024.
