The Response Of The Kapuspenkum After Sandra Dewi Was Reportedly A Suspect In The Illegal Tin Mining Case

JAKARTA - Sandra Dewi is trending on social media network X (Twitter). Her name was discussed after one of the accounts stated that she was following her husband, Harvey Moeis, as a suspect in an illegal tin mining case.

After the news was crowded, the Head of the Legal Information Center (Kapuspenkum) of the Attorney General's Office Ketut Sumedana opened his voice. He explained that Sandra Dewi was still a witness who interpreted that there had been no increase in the status of the examination process.

"Until now, the status of the person concerned is as a witness," Ketut told reporters in Jakarta, Wednesday, June 5.

"If there is a change in status to the person concerned, we will definitely inform him," he said.

Harvey Moeis was named a suspect in the illegal tin mining case. Then, Sandra Dewi underwent two examinations at the Attorney General's Office, on Wednesday (15/5) and Thursday (4/4).

Apart from Sandra Dewi, investigators also asked for information from Sandra Dewi's sister, Kartika Dewi and her husband with the initials RS at the end of May. Harvey Moeis' younger brother, Mira Moeis was also examined as a witness.

In this case, investigators named 22 suspects, two of whom have been transferred to the public prosecutor (JPU) of the South Jakarta District Attorney, Tuesday (4/6), on behalf of Tamron Tamsil (TN) alias Aon as the Beneficial Ownership CV VIP and PT MCN and Achmad Albani (AA) as the Operational Manager of the CV VIP Mine.

"Of the 22 suspects that have been determined, only 2 have been transferred to the court. It is possible that in next week or 2 weeks it will follow again for delegation to court," said Ketut.

Jampidsus Febrie Adriansyah said the Harvey Moeis case charged him with his role in the case and then what he had obtained. Sandra Dewi was also investigated regarding what she obtained with the assets confiscated by investigators.

"So we need information from his wife, especially if there is a statement separating assets, yes we have to make sure how to separate them, whether they are separated or not, they are not contaminated from the proceeds of crime in tin," said Febrie.
