JAKARTA - BASE Entertainment presents a film entitled One Imam Dua Makmum which is planned to be shown in Indonesian cinemas this year. The shooting process for the film Satu Imam Dua Makmum has started on May 20.

This film will feature Fedi Nuril, Amanda Manopo, and Revalina S. Temat, and supported by a number of well-known actors, namely Irgi Achmad Farezi, Maheera Yusuf, Marini Soerjosoemarno, Sari Nila, Siti Fauziah, Fanny Fadillah, Novita Angie, Tommy Fadjar, Meisya Siregar, Dendy Subangil, Indra Brasco, Mona Ratuliu and Leony Vitria Hartanti.

Producer Shanty Harmayn expressed his enthusiasm for returning to work with Ratih, having previously collaborated in the series Gadis Kretek. Shanty promised the film Satu Imam Dua Makmum would present something different from the previous film.

"In the film Satu Imam Dua Makmum, we raise the story of a romantic drama in domestic life, a story close to the heart. We hope that this film story can touch everyone's heart," said Shanty in a media statement, Thursday, June 6.

This romantic drama genre film is directed by Key Mangunsong and produced by Shanty Harmayn, Aoura Lovenson Chandra, Tanya Yuson, and Fauzar Nurdin, with the original story concept and the script written by Ratih Kumala.

Ratih revealed that this film project has different challenges compared to the previous film because One Imam Dua Makmum is an original story.

"The idea is inspired by the occurrence of several different people, who I know. The concept is simple; about how love can make a person learn to be sincere and fair from the heart," Ratih said in his official statement, Wednesday.

Furthermore, Ratih explained, the film Satu Imam Dua Makmum tells the story of a strong female character, also presenting elements of the drama of love and family. But this film emphasizes quite unique and different sides and conflicts, presents modern problems, but still feels personal.

"I personally really like the story, the problem of a couple that is almost never discussed, when it actually exists, and can be crucial. I hope this film can touch the hearts of the audience, because that's how I feel when I write it down," he said.
