Unstable Emotions When Filming Laura, Amanda Rawles Is Suspected Of Spirit Disruption

JAKARTA - The film Laura has the tagline A True Story of A Fighter is scheduled to hit theaters starting September 12. This film is inspired by the life story of the late Laura Anna who did not know her to give up until the end when she faced death, after having a car accident while with her boyfriend, Gaga Muhammad. Interestingly, many of the names of'real' characters seem not in the film because the names were disguised. This was done because the interpretation of the story remained in the point of view of Laura's family and did not judge anyone.

As Laura's actor, Amanda Rawles horrified her co-star, Kevin Ardilova. Amanda's emotions became unstable because she often laughed and cried during the process of playing the character of the late Laura Anna.

In the first three weeks when the script reading process was carried out, Amanda felt that she still couldn't imitate Laura. Especially the sound and the tone of laughter, because Laura feels that she has a uniqueness for it which is difficult to imitate

To overcome that, Amanda laughed instead. Even though there's nothing funny. It made Kevin and the people at the script reading location digitize.

"So at that time we were discussing what, suddenly Amanda laughed ha ha ha ha," Kevin said at the inaugural launch of footage and poster of Laura's film at the MD building, Kuningan, Jakarta, Monday, May 28.

Kevin doesn't know why Amanda laughed terriblely. But Amanda herself suspects it's because of her habit of listening to Laura's voice from videos on her cellphone, Laura's voice keeps ringing in her ear for a long time.

"For Laura's voice, this is one of the most difficult things to prepare for Laura's film," said Amanda.

Amanda said she also needed validation from other people regarding the extent of her voice resemblance to Laura, especially when starting the "podcast" scene.

Amanda didn't want to disappoint Laura in taking the scene. She didn't want Laura to look weak because Laura definitely didn't want to sound weak at that time.

After taking the "podcast" scene, Amanda was panicked. He suddenly cried suddenly. The tears could not be controlled, as if they had been held for a long time.

The people on the set thought Amanda was possessed by a spirit, but that's indisputable. Because Amanda said it was just panicking because at first she was worried that her voice during the "podcast" would not look like Laura.
