Rudi Soedjarwo Reveals Reasons For Choosing New Players For Films When Facing God

Director Rudi Soedjarwo will soon release his latest film entitled When he comes to God on June 6. Uniquely in this film, Rudi collaborates with new Indonesian actors.

Even through uploads on his personal Instagram, he openly made a competition looking for talented actors to do online casting to play a role in this latest film.

Seeing this, Rudi Soedjarwo tried to explain the reasons behind his decision. He felt that the new actor could convince him regarding the unrest raised in this film.

"When it comes to player selection, one of the concerns is that we already have the anxiety we want to film, right, we have to be able to make the audience believe it first," added Rudi Soedjarwo.

For the director of the Wings Patah film, it takes some important elements to make the audience of the film believe one of them is with new actors.

"To make the audience believe, the elements in the ingridient or elements in this film can be supportive to be trusted, if food is to support so that food is delicious in their tongue," he explained.

"Well, to be trusted, you have to be a real person, at least people they rarely see so they feel 'oh, maybe people are real', 'oh, maybe he is this'," he said.

Rudi further considers that the new actors are the spearhead of the trust of the audience of this latest film.

"It is easier for me to convince the audience with new faces even though we combine with old faces, but the stone face becomes the spearhead point for at least spectators to believe that this may happen and indeed happen," he said.
