Aghniny Haque is lined up to be the main character in the latest film by director Hanung Bramantyo entitled God Allows Me to have a sin with Donny Damara, Djenar Maessa Ayu to Nikita Mirzani.

Aghniny is trusted to play Kiran who is a Muslim student who is devout to religion and has good noble character.

Uniquely, to play this role, Aghniny and Andri Mashadi were asked to regularly take part in a study at a mosque in the Blok M area, South Jakarta.

"When we had our first meeting with Mas Hanung, said Mas Hanung 'you two often take part in studies' at that time during the fasting month, bro. Thank God we take part in studies at mosques in Blok M almost every day," said Andri Masha in the Kuningan area, South Jakarta, Tuesday, April 30.

Aghniny added that he first underwent recitation and studies compared to Andri. This was done because Aghniny's grandfather was a kyai so he was required to study when he returned home.

It is known that Aghniny attended recitation as well as a study for approximately two months.

"If I go first (experiencing the character deepening process). So before I started filming, I was told to go home first," said Aghniny.

'Aghni got a job from Mas Hanung, 'Where do you want to go after Eid?' 'Pulang kampung meets grandfather' 'Yaudah learns Koran, don't forget', said Andri.

Of course, this challenge was accepted with pleasure by Aghniny for the sake of this new role. He explained that he did not want to just memorize the existing dialogue but wanted to understand Kiran's character better.

"I couldn't possibly refuse when I was told to take part in the recitation because I wanted to understand what I really wanted to say. So I don't just memorize dialogue, but understand the role I want to convey what and what we want to show," concluded Aghniny.

The film, directed by Hanung Bramantyo, will be shown in all cinemas in Indonesia on May 22, 2024.
