Mentioning Name And Police Number, Teuku Rifnu Wikana Asks Perpetrators To Hit And Run Children And Nephew Strictly Take Action

JAKARTA - Celebrity Teuku Rifnu Wikana gave the latest news regarding the hit-and-run case that befell his child and nephew on Sunday, April 14 in Pematang Siantar after previously the police asked him not to extend this case.

Through uploads on his Instagram story, Rifnu informed that the perpetrators of the hit-and-run who injured his children and nephew had been arrested based on a short message from the Siantar Police Chief, AKBP Yogen Heroes Baruno.

Yogen said that both the perpetrator named Gimson Opusunggu and the motorbike he used at the time of the incident had been secured by the police.

"Permission, sir. We have handled it and we have secured the perpetrators with vehicles," read a short message quoted by VOI from Instagram story Teuku Rifnu Wikana, Tuesday, April 16.

The arrest itself took place at 20.00 WIB at a hotel called Horizon Siantar. Yogen also said that Gimson was not doing illegal racing but was just not careful when driving.

"Last night's incident (arrest) at 20 o'clock in front of the Horizon Siantar Hotel. Information is not illegal racing but is not careful when driving and hitting 5 pedestrians. All victims are lightly injured," Yogen continued.

Seeing this, in another upload, Teuku Rifnu Wikana demanded accountability from Gameson Opusunggu. He also reminded to be careful when driving, especially on highways where many people pass by.

"The crasher named Gimson Opusunggu. BK 3035 WAN. Hopefully there will be accountability. At least you know that your ego on the streets can make people lose their hands, feet, and even lives. The road is not a track road race! Hopefully there will be justice," concluded Teuku Rifnu Wikana.
