JAKARTA - Five Nights at Freddy's which will air in 2023 will have a continuation of the story. This news was confirmed by the production house Universal Pictures together with Blumhouse Productions at the Cinemacon event.

In addition to the sequel project, the release date, plot details, and who the actor will join the project are not yet known.

Five Nights at Freddy's, which is an adaptation of popular video games, reaped success when they hit $297 million for global views.

This film is the best-selling film produced by Blumhouse of all time. Launching Variety, the film received sharp criticism and negative reviews but this film actually got an increasing number of viewers.

In addition, this film also airs on Halloween which further adds to the enthusiasm of film fans.

The main actor, Josh Hutcherson also expressed his desire to join the sequel if the production was planned.
