DPR Member Ahmad Dhani Was Not Present At The South Jakarta Gold Pinang TPS Until The Voting Time After

JAKARTA - Musician and member of the Indonesian House of Representatives Ahmad Dhani was not present at the 025 Voting Station (TPS) on Jalan Pinang Emas, South Jakarta, where he was registered as a voter until the voting time ended.

"Based on the DPT (Recent Voter List), on behalf of Ahmad Dhani Prasetyo it was registered at Pols 025, but until 13.00 WIB at noon he was not present," said Head of the 025 Voting Organizing Group (KPPS) Adi Syahlani in Jakarta, quoted from Antara, Wednesday, November 27.

Adi said that the invitation to exercise voting rights in the DKI Jakarta Regional Head Election (Pilkada) had been submitted to Ahmad Dhani and his family members who already have the right to vote.

He did not know the reason Ahmad Dhani did not come to Polling Station 025 to exercise his voting rights in the simultaneous regional head elections in 2024.

As of 13.24 WIB, Ahmad Dhani's family members who have come to Polling Station 025 to exercise their right to vote are only Ahmad Jalaluddin Rumi or El Rumi. Ahmad Dhani's second child came to Polling Station 025 at 08.15 WIB.

"For the family present, which can be seen for the current regional elections, only Mas El can be seen," said Adi.

He explained that according to the provisions of the General Elections Commission (KPU), the voting was carried out until 13.00 WIB.

Thus, residents who come after the voting deadline can no longer use their voting rights.

"So, based on regulations from the KPU, the voting deadline is only until 13.00 WIB. Now it's 13.10 WIB, so it's closed. There is no (Ahmad Dhani) attendance list," Adi said regarding the possibility of Ahmad Dhani using the right to vote at Polling 025.

The selection of Regional Heads of DKI Jakarta Province was attended by three couples, namely Ridwan Kamil and Suswono, Dharma Pongrekun and Kun Wardana, and Pramono Anung and Rano Karno.

Residents who are included in the DKI Jakarta Pilkada DPT 2024 recorded 8.2 million people. A total of 14,835 polling stations have been prepared to facilitate residents who want to exercise their voting rights in the DKI Jakarta Pilkada on November 27, 2024.
