Will It Be Reshuffled, Johnny Depp Joins Pirates Of The Caribbean Again?

JAKARTA - Seven years have passed since the film Pirates of the Caribbean was released in theaters. The wait for the sequel continues to be discussed today.

Jerry Bruckheimer as the producer of this franchise revealed the continuation of his two biggest franchise projects, namely Pirates of the Caribbean and Top Gun.

He explained that the Pirates of the Caribbean will be made in a reboot format which means that most likely the film will not be played by the previous actors, including Johnny Depp.

You don't know how (Top Gun 3) comes, I don't know because Tom (Cruise) is very busy. With Top Gun, you guys have iconic and brilliant actors, and how many films he played before Top Gun, "said Jerry Bruckheimer.

"Tom is amazing. We spent time with him. We have a story. Joe Kosinski had a good idea and Tom said 'I like this' so we made it. He's shooting Mission: Impossible, hopefully after he gets the script he likes, we'll come back again," he continued.

Bruckheimer also gave a different response when he talked about Pirates. Not a few suspect that certain actors are Johnny Depp.

"But we're going to reboot the Pirates, it's easier to do because you don't have to wait for certain actors," he continued.

The new film Pirates was done by Craig Mazin with Ted Elliot. The project was stopped due to a strike last year but the script process ensured that the reboot film would run.

"We tried and felt the script felt strange but they (Disney) liked it. We wrote a fantastic script and broke down," said Craig Mazin.

Johnny Depp was also reportedly fired by Disney in the aftermath of a defamation case against his ex-wife, Amber Heard.
