Legal Counsel Says Teuku Ryan Demands Custody And Child Cost To Ria Ricis

JAKARTA - The divorce trial for the married couple Teuku Ryan and Ria Ricis was held again at the South Jakarta Religious Court on Monday, March 25. The trial is scheduled for witness statements from Ria Ricis's side.

After the trial was over, Ria Ricis's attorney had conveyed the issue of custody of her client's child with Ryan, Moana. It is said that Ryan demanded custody and child fees to Ria Ricis.

"Yes, that's the answer they asked for," said Hendra K. Siregar, Ria Ricis's attorney at the South Jakarta Religious Court, Monday, March 25.

However, based on the law, Hendra explained that the child in question is still a minor, he must be cared for and guarded by the mother alias Ria Ricis.

"If the law is still a minor, it means returning to the mother as long as the mother has no problems," said Hendra.

Even so, Hendra emphasized that there was no discussion regarding Gono's assets in the divorce of Ria Ricis and Teuku Ryan.

"It doesn't exist if it (harta gono like this)," he said.

Hendra also said that until yesterday's trial Ryan was still adamant about reconciliation with Ria Ricis even though it was known that their communication was not going well.

"How exactly have we answered, yes, only their answer (Teuku Ryan) did not want to separate and want to continue to survive but their answer was that there was no child's cost, I don't know what it meant," he explained.

"We have conveyed the factor safely in court, so automatically (communication) is not okay, the conditions have separated. Factors that make it not okay," he concluded.
