JAKARTA - Actor Michael Cera shared the experience of filming the Barbie film directed by Greta Gerwig. He admitted that he almost died due to changes in scenes at the last minute.
Michael Cera plays Allan, one of Ken's dolls who lives in Barbieland with another Barbie and Ken doll. His film, which earned great success, did not go well.
He revealed that actor Ben Affleck should have made a cameo in the Barbie film. He will enter the scene of an argument with Allan's character, but Affleck canceled because he was directing the film Air.
"I thought Ben (Affleck) wanted to do it but he was directing the film, so they just found out about the news maybe 11 hours later," Michael Cera said.
The production team then thought, 'OK, Ben out. Something has to happen here, so you have to fight them,' Cera said imitating the words of the production team.
