Lifted From Laura Anna's True Story, Amanda Rawles Stars In Laura's Film

JAKARTA - The production house MD Pictures has again announced their latest film which will begin filming this week with the title Laura directed by Hanung Bramantyo.

The film itself will star Amanda Rawles as Laura Anna and Kevin Ardilova as Jojo.

"We will shoot this film Thursday. We are ready to shoot which will be directed by Mas Hanung Bramantyo," said Manoj Punjabi, Executive Producer of MD Pictures in the Setiabudi area, South Jakarta, Tuesday, January 23.

For the story itself, Manoj explained that later this film was based on a true story that had happened in the life of the late Laura Anna. However, he did not categorize this film as a biographical film.

"We take the story from the book, there are many stories in the book and it's not a biography, so this is a story that makes us then interview his family, in particular Irene so that we can get accurate facts and also the scenes we make according to what to film, right," said Manoj Punjabi.

Hanung Bramantyo as the director expressed his gratitude for being invited to be involved in this film. The reason is, according to him, the message to be conveyed in this film is very important to be shared with the public.

Where he sees that we as human beings are not good if we love too much or even hate something and teach us to love and hate naturally.

"I am very grateful to be here. This film is very important to be shared with the public how important it is to be aware of yourself so that you don't fall in deep love and hate because of the essence of life love you as you are, as usual, until you hate it," said Hanung Bramantyo.

The plan is for the film Laura to be screened this year during all the shooting process to take place as planned.

"Ini syuting selesai Februari 20. Terus ada lanjut lagi kami bulan April ke luar negeri mau syuting ke Budapes juga jadi we have time dan untuk tahun ini siap sangat siap. Mudah-mudahan," pungkas Manoj Punjabi.

For your information, Laura Anna passed away on December 15, 2021. Before she died, Laura Anna had struggled for two years againstcervical vertebrae dispensation or neck spine dislocation.

Laura Anna suffered from the disease after an accident with her ex-lover, Gaga Muhammad, on December 8, 2019.
