Bae Doona Proud To Wear A Korean Hat On Rebel Moon

JAKARTA - Bae Doona feels proud to be involved in Zack Snyder's latest film, Rebel Moon. He played the role of Nemesis, one of theama's sword experts recruited by Kora, played by Sofia Boutella.

"Actually I'm not trying to spread Korean culture in character but when you guys watched, you might think 'He's like a Korean' because of the costume," Bae Doona said at a Rebel Moon press conference on December 11, 2023.

"You may watch Kingdom and the hat I wear is called 'Gat' in Korea," he continued.

Furthermore, Bae Doona explained that the traditional Korean hat was originally only worn by men. However, he got the opportunity to wear the hat.

"I was very happy to wear it, my stylist brought it when I got to the fitting room," said Bae Doona.

If you look at it,ERANGsis is like entering my body and body life. Because I was born and raised in Korea so naturally, it's in me," he said.

Zack Snyder also revealed that Rebel Moon is a military story combined with technology. The concept of the story has been owned by Snyder since the 90s when he first worked on the film.

'Rebel Moon is an underdog story. You know this is very one-sided, but when it comes to preparing characters, scripting analysis, it's very challenging," said Zack Snyder.

Rebel Moon tells the story of Kora who comes to a village inhabited by farmers, but a fact makes her go a different journey to save herself.

The first part of the Rebel Moon film will be released on December 15 on Netflix.
