JAKARTA - "The old face that always sprouts back" is the most fun term given to Shinta Priwit (SIP), a singer and composer who has continued to work in the Indonesian music industry for more than 20 years, although not many people know her until now.

Shinta Priwit uses work as a way to give thanks to the Master of Work. Starting 2021, to be precise on February 10, Shinta Priwit is back with her latest single titled Senyumlah Negeriku, which she has created herself.

Since February 17th, this song has been played for loyal radio listeners to enjoy everywhere. The lyric video has also been broadcasted on Shinta Priwit's YouTube channel.

The song Senyumlah Negeriku, with the pop-reggae genre and touches of Indonesian music, tells the story of an invitation to the Indonesian nation, all Indonesian people, nature, and all existing creatures, to keep smiling and holding hands (in the sense of the heart) in the various difficult situations we face.

"Like the current condition, the whole world is struggling to deal with a pandemic and various disasters that have occurred consecutively, of course, it brings grief to those who experience it directly or indirectly," said Shinta Priwit in a written statement received by the editorial desk, Wednesday, February 17.

Senyumlah Negeriku is the third song in a series of ALBUM 7URUS HIDUP MAKIN ASYIK which carries the pop-reggae genre. Shinta Priwit is considered a newcomer to this genre.

This year, Shinta Priwit will complete the ALBUM 7URUS HIDUP MAKIN ASYIK, by releasing one song every month until she completes 7 songs.
