Lee Jin Wook Challenged To Explore 2 Characters In Sweet Home 2

JAKARTA - The Sweet Home series officially continues into its second season on Friday, December 1. This series still features previous players such as Song Kang, Go Min Si, Lee Si Young, and also Lee Jin Wook.

In his first season, Lee Jin Wook played the role of Pyeon Sang Wook who possessed Jung Ui Myyeong's spirit. This made Sang Wook transform into two sides, namely the human side and the monster side.

"My character, as you know. She's the Pyeon Sang Wook, but she's not entirely the Pyeon Sang Wook," Lee Jin Wook said at the Sweet Home 2 press conference.

"He feels monster is superior to human. It was Jung Ui Myyeong's character thought so he hosted Pyeon Sang Wook's body," he continued.

Lee Jin Wook admitted that it was difficult to explore two roles at once. He then designed a way to explore his new character by contacting the previous player.

At first, I was assisted by actor Kim Sung Cheol who played Eui Myong. I asked him to read my dialogue. Even though the schedule was busy, Sung Cheol did well. He recorded and sent it to me, "explained Lee Jin Wook.

"Human memory, if you think about it, it's not just in the brain, right? I think only organs of the body determine you as a human. So I think, in my body, there is still Pyeon Sang Wook who lives. So I tried to make a very subtle approach in presenting the character," he said.

He admitted that he was challenged to adjust his energy to the characters Jung Ui Myong and Pyeon Sang Wook.

Premitting the character of Pyeon Sang Wook where the host is Jung Ui Mueong. I think like this, my half face is Ui Myeong, the other half is Pyeon Sang Wook," he explained again.

Overall, Sweet Home is a turning point for me. It evokes a potential side in me as an actor and I want to thank director Lee who gave me the opportunity," said Lee Jin Wook.

Sweet Home 2 tells the story of Green Home apartment residents including Cha Way Soo who fights monsters. In the baseball stage, survivors are determined to live together but they are threatened with monsters outside the stage and the monster side they live in.
