JAKARTA - YG Entertainment just inaugurated their newest girl group, BABYMONSTER with the main single titled Battery Up on Monday, November 27. However, fans were confused after the agency said there was no promotion for their debut song.

Launching TV Report, the agency explained that so far BABYMONSTER does not have a schedule to appear on music shows.

"There is no definite schedule for BABYMONSTER's performance on television music shows," the agency said today, Wednesday, November 29.

They also added that group promotions are being compiled so that currently the focus of the agency is working on the latest track for the next BABYMONSTER promotion.

Fans also suspect that BABYMONSTER's debut was rushed. The reason is, BABYMONSTER does not have a personal X account, Weverse account, even a showcase schedule or press conference that other artists usually do.

The agency also did not mention whether this was a pre-debut track or an official debut due to a series of promotions that did not occur.

BABYMONSTER went through a long way to debut. They were scheduled to debut in September, but in October, the new agency explained that they postponed their debut to improve the quality of debut songs.

A few days earlier, YG Entertainment announced that Ahyeon did not participate in BABYMONSTER's debut for health reasons. Even so, the agency compiled every detail in the music video into six members.

So far, the agency has also not issued a statement on when Ahyeon will participate in the promotion of BABYMONSTER.

BABYMONSTER is the newest female K-pop group from YG Entertainment after BLACKPINK in 2016. The group consists of three Koreans, two Japanese, and two Thais.

The BATTER UP music video which marked their debut also earned 41 million views during the two release days.
