JAKARTA - The Empowerment Foundation Limited successfully completed the Entrepreneurship training program which was held specifically for 100 participants of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) owned by people with disabilities. The main goal of this program is to provide participants with deep insight regarding the world of entrepreneurship and the challenges faced in managing the MSME business. This program with the theme of Deliver Possibilities was initiated by J&T Express as a logistics company with a commitment to empowering SMEs and supported by the Ministry of Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises (KEMENKOPUKM). The training lasted six days from October 30 to November 4, followed by a judging session to determine the top 10 on the 13-14th. This training focuses on seven main themes, including Product Marketing, Tech Adoption, Content & Virtual Design, Digital Advertisement, Maximizing Marketing Feature, Basic Logistics & Cash Flow Management. Each participant undergoes a test or post-test for each material that has been submitted, while being required to formulate a business plan proposal that will be assessed by a jury panel. In the first judging session, 20 participants with the highest post-test scores were further tested with in-depth questions from the judges regarding their business proposals. On the second day of judging, the top 10 had been selected which would present their business plans. In the second judging session, it will determine the rankings that will receive a total prize of IDR 150 million in the form of procurement of goods that support the continuity of MSMEs. This prize is then given to the 10 best participants to assist in the development and sustainability of their business.
