Lia Announces Absent From ITZY's New Album And Concert Tour

JAKARTA - Lia ITZY brings unpleasant news to fans called MIDZY. After undergoing a hiatus for several months, the agency re-released a similar statement with additional information.

JYP Entertainment announced that Lia will be absent from all ITZY series of activities in the future.

"Currently, Lia is experiencing symptoms of anxiety when doing activities. She is diagnosed with anxiety as a result of the examination and is focusing on treatment," said JYP Entertainment.

"After discussing with Lia and members, it was decided that Lia would be absent from the production of the new ITZY album in January 2024 as well as world tours as a focus on her health," he continued.

In the same statement, the agency also shared the news that Lia released a single solo as a form of gratitude to fans. They understand fans may feel disappointed because they may not meet Lia for a long time.

Lia also wrote a letter to fans while sharing this news directly. He wants fans to also hear his part.

"After thinking deeply, I will not participate in future world production and tours and I plan to take time to focus on my health," wrote Lia.

I also released a solo track Blossom with lyric videos for fans who feel disappointed. This is a song filled with sincerity that I prepared for fans," he said.

Through his letter, Lia promised to focus on health so that he could perform with ITZY for fans.

MIDZY, how are you? I'm fine. I promise I will return well and healthy, enough to restore the support MIDZY has given in times we cannot share together! said Lia.

"Thank you for always believing and waiting for me," concluded Lia.

ITZY itself has completed the CHECKMATE tour in 2022. Launching the agency's statement, ITZY will release a new album and continue with a world tour.
