JAKARTA - The 2023 Korean Film Festival (KIFF) will be present this year. Entering the 14th year of implementation, KIFF is determined to present South Korean and Indonesian films with various stories.

KIFF 2023 announced 16 films that can be watched through the KIFF 2023 event consisting of 12 South Korean films and 4 Indonesian films. The films that were shown were films released between 2022 and 2023.

Kim Jee Won's latest film, Cobweb, was announced as the opening film that marked the official KIFF 2023 to be held. All of these films can be watched at the CGV Grand Indonesia in Jakarta, CGV 23 Paskal in Bandung, CGV Jwalk in Yogyakarta, and CGV Marvell City in Surabaya from October 20 to October 22, 2023.

All films at KIFF 2023 can be watched by paying Rp. 15,000 through CGV App or offline according to the broadcast schedule. The following is a list of 16 films that will air on KIFF 2023:

Cobweb is the opening film for KIFF 2023 which exclusively premieres through this festival. Cobweb tells the story of director Kim Yeol (Song Kang Ho) who suddenly wants to change the ending of the story of his latest film. This decision contradicts the crew and producers including the censorship agency in that era which was very tight. Set in the 1970s, this film captures the struggle of a director to finish the film.

This musical film tells the story of Ahn Jung Geun (Chung Sung Hwa), a Korean army commander who targets Ito Hirobumi who colonizes Korea. On the other hand, Seol Hee (Kim Go Eun) went undercover to convey information to save their country.

Two men steal babies to sell on the black market. One day they meet a young mother who has just dumped her child at church. However, they instead met and worked together to find new parents for the child. Broker is the first Korean film directed by Hirokazu Koreeda.

The horror film The Ghost Station tells the story of Nayoung (Kim Bo Ra) who is looking for exclusive news. Assisted by Woo Won (Kim Jae Hyun), he learned that there were several cases of death at the Oksu underground station. The investigation led them to a series of strange events and they had to save themselves.

Ma Seok Do (Ma Dong Seok) joins a group to solve a murder case. He began to investigate who was behind the incident. Starring Lee Joon Hyuk, The Roundup is one of the most successful Korean film franchises.

The Switch film tells the story of Park Gang (Kwon Sang Woo), a famous actor full of scandals. He has a manager, Jo Yoon (Oh Jung Se) who dreams of becoming an actor. One day, Park Gang wakes up to become an ordinary man with his wife and two children while Jo Yoon becomes a famous actor according to his dreams.

Hwang Sun Woo (Doh Kyungsoo EXO) is a former Navy soldier and graduate of molecular physics. He was selected as one of the astronauts on a flight mission as the youngest member. One time a solar wind struck the spacecraft and left his fellow astronaut dead. Hwang Sun Woo remains the only astronaut who is still alive and is looking for ways to survive in space.

During the Goryeo dynasty, Tao's followers tried to take a mysterious sword. Today, aliens appear on earth and destroy the human order. Goryeo and Bumi's doors connect and make aliens fight with royal members. Alienoid played by Ryu Jun Yeol, Kim Woo Bin, Kim Tae Ri, and So Ji Sub.

Directed by Giranti Rona, this film tells the story of Laras (Hanna Malasan), a prostitute who is killed by his client but his body is rejected because he is wearing a follow-up. His family is looking for ways to cure Susuk from his body which is also a terror for those around him.
